Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his desire in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to negotiate a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is presently midway through the four-year deal he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.
The veteran forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the first significant trophy of his notable career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about going back home as he once was, and would definitely consider prolonging his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he commented.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had escaped him until he won the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
