I will overwhelm 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
