Learning methods to obtain a Steel Cover in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is important for finalizing your Pokédex, since a pair of particular creatures – Mantis Pokémon and Onix – need this object to develop into Scizor and Iron Snake in turn. What's more, both those evolved forms feature mega versions accessible in the game.
You'll find two primary approaches to obtain a Metal Jacket in PLZA, the two of which involve significant campaign development. The first opportunity gamers can get this evolution object is when they reach C Rank in their journey.
How to Acquire Metal Jacket in PLZA
Players can employ pair of main strategies to get a Steel Cover in PLZA: finishing specific side missions or buying it from Racine Construction. Sadly, both approaches become obtainable relatively late in the adventure.
Optional Tasks That Grant Steel Covers
Players will encounter two specific sub-quests that offer Metal Coats as rewards: Sub-Quest 101 ("Steadfast as Steel") and Sub-Quest 114 ("A Feather from Skarmory"). As noted before, these tasks typically appear during the endgame portion. Specifically, "Steadfast as Steel" appears around Campaign Quest 35, while "A Feather from Skarmory" unlocks once completing the central questline.
Remember that the non-player character for "the Skarmory quest" usually appears near the entrance to Wild Zone 17, though their location might differ slightly depending on your progress.
Where to Acquire Metal Coat in PLZA
After gamers complete the end credits, they are able to buy a Metal Coat from a worker inside the Racine Construction building building. That is the identical structure where gamers encounter the character Canari for the Rank E promotion match, located adjacent to the train station and south of Restaurant Le Nah. Once unlocked, Racine Construction also turns into a quick travel point.
After becoming accessible, a vendor at this location will sell a Metal Coat for 4980 Pokédollars. Luckily, this vendor has unlimited stock, meaning players can acquire as numerous Steel Covers as they want, provided they have enough money.
Essentially, if players are not advanced enough through the story, they won't be able to obtain a Metal Jacket currently.
